Carla Nicole was battered to death at a remote farmhouse near Huntly, Aberdeenshire, by Sandy
McClure, her mother’s partner, shortly after the family moved from Aberdeen.
McClure force-fed her, holding the nostrils of the child and made her stand unsupported for long
periods in an attempt to get her to walk.
Bone said McClure would scoop up her vomit from her bib and put it back on her plate.
McClure, who was jailed for life for murdering the child, picked up the 13-month-old infant by the
legs and repeatedly "swung her like a pendulum" against a wall, crushing her skull. Carla
Nicole’s mother, Andrea Bone, was jailed for three years for failing to protect her daughter.
